Now no longer multipurpose sports shoes; the existing running shoes, tennis shoes, soccer shoes, volleyball shoes, etc.. Here is a guide for you who want to buy running shoes, which according to the character of the foot.
Track’s oldest sports, cheapest, and simplest. Unlike golf that should require and bat the ball, or soccer to collect more than ten people and require a ball and goal. Run only with shoes, although there is cekeran course. The place would not be a problem, be on the sidelines of forest shade around the park or in the yard.
However, each swinging his legs and heels planted on the ground, the burden that must be supported by the heel of the range 3 – 5 times your body weight. That’s if you’re normal weight, if overweight burden of the heavy heel. In addition to weight, experienced hard heel impact is strongly influenced by the quality and type of shoes that walk on the soil surface. To avoid injuries from running, it is recommended to run on the grass, crushed brick (gravel), or sandy soil.
In the case of selecting a shoe, many considerations you must take. Especially this time almost all shoe manufacturers claim their products as high-tech products. Some of the following suggestions may help in getting shoes that fit with the character of the foot.
Step 1:
Buy shoes that really good quality. This is very important especially for beginners to give comfort to shocks, control of movement, flexibility, and endurance. Indeed, as a beginner you probably will only run a few miles. For that, in your mind thinking, why not wear shoes that already exist, such as tennis shoes or other rubber shoes?
Permissive attitude like that will only benefit in the short term. In addition, initial attitude in action is crucial steps in the future. If you get injured in the initial training, who are the losers? At the beginning of the movement, the foot is still unstable, so extra protection is careful solution could not negotiable. It should also be remembered, good running shoes durable quality will be used until a distance of 650 to 800 km. A long-term investment which is comparable to the price that must be issued.
Step 2:
Understand what is pronation. Running is a complex process of biomechanics. In general, when running, the first foot hit the ground is the outer side of the heel. Then scroll to the bottom of the foot and slightly to the inside when meeting with the land. Next heels leave the ground and followed by the encouragement given body at the front balls of your feet to take off and move forward.
What is meant by the rotation of foot pronation in the direction of the landing on the ground. Pronation is a natural process and normal in every person, and so help your feet absorb the impact of shocks.
Wet test
Wet feet and make a mark on a flat dry surface.
• Left: flat feet, you tend to overpronate.
• Middle: normal legs, your normal pronation.
• Right: high arched feet, you tend to underpronate.
However, pronation level on each person differently. Anything done to excess (overpronate), in this case runners legs rolled too far into. There was also a less pronation (underpronate); foot just rolled in slightly after contact with the ground. Overpronate often found in some runners and could cause injury, especially in the lower leg and knee. Underpronate can cause injury because of lack of good in the absorption of shocks.
Step 3:
Get to know your foot type. By checking the height curve (arch) foot, could be determined in which category your pronation. If flat feet, tend to overpronate. Legs that have high arches, it is possible to perform less pronation (underpronate). For those who have a normal arch, pronation is done is right and true. According to research by John W. Pagliano, DPM, foot specialist in Long Beach, California, 50% of runners had a normal foot arch, 25% have a high arch, and the rest have low arches.
To determine the height arched feet, do “wet test” (wet test). Wet your feet and make a trail on a flat surface and dried. The result can be compared with the picture.

Step 4:
Buy shoes that fit. Types and levels of foot pronation to characterize your running shoes. Running shoes are generally produced in three forms which correspond to three types of feet like the picture wet test. The shape of shoes can easily be seen with the reverse and see the bottom. The forms are as follows:
• Establish a straight (straight shape), good for flat feet (flat foot) or those who perform excessive pronation (overpronator).
• curved shape (Curved shape), suitable for curved leg (high-arched foot) or those who tend to do less pronation (underpronator).
• slightly curved shape, suitable for normal foot (normal foot) or those with normal pronation (normal pronator).
If you flat-footed and overpronator, shoes chosen not to make the feet roll too far into. Appropriate shoes are motion-control shoes (motion-control shoes). Many of these types of shoes straight shape that gives maximum strut leg. Other characteristics, post or footbridge that anti-pronation, a little hard midsole, and a strong heel counter.
For those who have high-arched feet and underpronate, shock absorption is reduced. Soft shoe is the solution because it helps foot in the direction of rolling so that’s going to absorb shocks. Find the shoe midsole which were soft and curved (Curved shape).
Fortunately the legs and had normal pronation because no need for special shoes. Focus your attention on just the right size and comfortable. Look for shoes that are in between the types of shoes on. Generally this type of shoes called stability shoes.
Step 5:
Find the shoes in specialty stores for runners. In some developed countries, a special shoe store was used. there are several shoe stores that can help in choosing shoes that fit in accordance with the anatomy of the foot prospective buyers. They are also open to consultation shoes and foot problems.
Some things to consider before buying shoes:
1. Shop in the afternoon (late afternoon) when the foot has the largest size.
2. In trying shoes, wear socks.
3. Make sure both feet measured. Many people who measure the left and right foot is different. Shoes should be fitted with the size of the largest foot.
In addition to the above, you need to prepare answers to the following questions are usually asked by a shoe store clerk:
1. How long you exercise run?
2. How much distance you normally travel?
3. Where are you running?
4. What is your weight?
5. Do you understand the terms like flat tread, overpronate, and underpronate?
The answers are very helpful in choosing a store clerk shoe models appropriate and comfortable for you.
Step 6:
Make sure your shoes fit the foot. Shoes that fit will feel comfortable but not tight. “One thing that can harm was buying shoes too small,” said Tom Brunick, director of athletic shoes testing Athlete Foot shoe store. Good running shoes should be half or one size larger than shoe your everyday.
The following guidelines may help in determining whether or not fitted shoes that you wear:
1. Check if there is enough room on the tip of your toes in your shoes. Insert your thumb into the end of the shoe and must be fitted above the longest toe.
2. Check if there is enough space on either side of your foot. Shoes must not be tight, but your feet should not slip back and forth.
3. Your heel should be comfortable in the back of the shoe and not slip up and down when walking or running.
4. Shoes should hold the foot securely, but should not be pressed tightly on any foot area.
If all you have to understand, why do not directly and immediately go to the shoe store? Tie your shoelaces and run immediately reached for a fit body!

Thanks for the helpful infomration.
I noticed the picture of the Jepara 4 SC women’s, which I understand will be released in March 2010. The Jepara 1 and 2 both came in a women’s “D” (wide) width. The wide platform and stretchy fabric were great for bunions. Sadly, the Jepara 3 did not come in a wide width in women’s, and the last also was much narrower. Do you know if the Jepara 4 SC will come in wide, and if the last will be more like the 1 and 2, or the 3? Thanks for your help!
